White Ash, Flat Cut – available in FSC Controlled

Description:

White Ash has a lustrous surface and straight, coarse somewhat open grain. The heartwood is cream to very light brown, while the sapwood is wide and nearly white in color. Flat cut veneer shows the characteristic cathedral or heart pattern.

Applications:
Ash is a strong, hard veneer usually available in wide cuts suitable for architectural use. Ash accepts stains readily and is an excellent choice for paneling, doors, cabinetry, plywood, and occasionally for furniture.

Alternatives:
European Ash, Japanese Ash
